The many perspectives on a key topic: organizational culture

“Culture eats strategy for breakfast” is a famous quote from the legendary management consultant and write, Peter Drucker. This because organizational culture is directly linked to execution and even a perfect strategy can derail if poorly executed.

Along these lines often poor organizational performance is linked to so called 'toxic cultures' that stifle that generate an atmosphere that consumes energy and produces poor performance, it has been stated that more positive cultures, promoting freedom of individual and team expression are the ones that lead to consistent performance. Yet, as this article points out, this is also a direction that can generate problems.
