Riccardo Paterni contributes to organize and moderates Motorsport Club 2025; promoted by GMA, powered by RPM

Motorsport Club 2025 took place on May 22nd at the Sala Opera in the context of Autopromotec 2025 at Bologna Fiere. The format of conferences and stimulation of commercial networking between companies operating in the sector at an international level (particularly in Italy and the United Kingdom) has reached its third edition promoted and organized by Global Marketing Architecture with the direct support of RPM - Rete Professionisti Motorsport.

The substance of the topics of debated

The day opened with institutional greetings from Councilor Vincenzo Colla, Vice President of the Emilia-Romagna Region, Serena Corti of the British Department for Business and Trade and Pim Van Baarsen of the Silverstone Technology Cluster, and then got to the heart of the matter with three thematic panels:

  • Misano Panel – Selin Tur (General and Technical Director of Williams Grand Prix Technologies), Massimo Bercella (CEO of Bercella Srl) and Amro Karim (F1 Business Development of McLaren Applied Technologies) discussed the topic of Technology Transfer, highlighting how skills developed in the Motorsport sector can be used in High Performance Engineering industries. The moderator was journalist Paolo Oggioni.
  • Varano Panel – Iain Gordon (Commercial Director of Evolutions Measuranents) and Alberto Maggioni (Head of Aerodynamics at Sauber Technologies) highlighted the centrality of Aerodynamics on motorsport performance from a historical perspective, current and projected towards the future. Moderated by Riccardo Paterni, co-founder and manager of RPM.
  • Imola Panel – Riccardo De Filippi (General Manager of Marelli Motorsport), Gregory Edwards (Founder and CEO of Hooper Quinn) and Marco Cini (Powertrain Engineer at Alma) brought their personal point of view on the development of the most recent propulsion systems. Moderated by journalist Paolo Oggioni.

The panels offered concrete ideas and insights that enhanced the experience of the panelists by going to the roots of the issues and projecting them towards the future.

The day was crowned by an inspirational moment stimulated by Engineer Luigi Mazzola who involved the audience in expressing the best of their individual and team performance by leveraging emotions and relating everything to his experiences with various drivers and top figures in Formula 1.

The effective commercial networking action

Italian and UK companies and international professionals in the sector had the opportunity to discuss and delve into their respective technological innovations in the context of a special space dedicated to commercial comparison to concretely develop commercial relationships.
