Participating to Italy–India Defence Industry Forum on Defence Systems

Honored to have participated in the *Italy–India Defence Industry Forum on Defence Systems* held in Rome — a significant platform fostering strategic collaboration between two dynamic defence ecosystems.

The forum was organized by AIAD in collaboration with Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM) of Indian Defence Manufacturers, bringing together key stakeholders to drive meaningful dialogue on innovation, co-development, and industrial partnerships. The key participation of Ministry of Defence of India Direzione Nazionale Armamenti - Ministero della Difesa showed promising cooperation.

We were proud to represent @M.E.R.in Srl (Producers of Flexible Fuel Tanks and Self Sealing Fuel Tanks) in a series of high-level B2B meetings aligned with India’s *Make in India* vision. The discussions focused on technology transfer, co-production opportunities, and the integration of proven systems and products into India’s rapidly evolving defence manufacturing ecosystem.

What stood out was the shared commitment to leveraging each other’s strengths — combining Italy’s advanced technological capabilities with India’s robust manufacturing landscape. The engagements reflected not only strong business intent but also a deepening strategic partnership built on trust, innovation, and long-term collaboration.

This forum is a clear testament to the strengthening ties between India and Italy in the defence sector, paving the way for future-ready solutions and mutually beneficial growth.
